Do you need to lose weight?

If so you are not alone. 53% of females and 57% of males in the UK are overweight; and 24% of men and women are obese.

Most people know how to lose weight; eat less and burn off more calories, but sometimes it's not that easy. Sue understands how difficult it can be to lose and then maintain a healthy weight. She has devised a weight management programme that makes reaching a healthier weight as simple as possible.

This programme helps you to lose weight by understanding why you eat, what and when. This understanding helps you to maintain your new healthier weight. Successful weight loss and maintenance relies on long-term lifestyle change. Diet (what you eat) is only half the equation - the other half is activity. Sue works with you to devise an appropriate progressive activity programme for you that fits into your life style at a level you can sustain. It is better to make small sustainable changes over a longer period of time rather than a quick fix that cannot be sustained. 95% of all diets fail. That is why Sue believes in a life style change not a diet. No matter how much weight you lose, if you eat and do what you did before, you will weigh what you did before.

Working individually or in small groups (max 12), Sue will help you to examine the thoughts, feelings and behaviours that have lead to being overweight and work with you to build strategies to help you achieve your goals. Sue draws on her experience as a Life Coach, Nutritional Advisor, Pilates and Personal Trainer to devise programmes for clients.
